revived into cafe ‘PUNG NEW DO’. Although the past, present, and future are connected, they have their own unique qualities during each era. To accentuate the distinctive features of this historical and one-of-a-kind space, the coexistence and contrast of the past and present were integrated into the spatial design concept as a key element. In order to maintain the historical features of the architecture, the building materials were left unchanged. The cultural synergy that emerges from the audience experiencing such content was interpreted as ‘Shine of light’ and taken as the design concept for both the space and the brand experience. Optimizing the concept experience required careful attention to the design and production of furniture and lighting. The exhibition design prominently featured a recycled marble sponge and concrete module block. Following the fair, both materials were utilized in the production of Iksundada’s “Focal Point” project. The design process began with establishing a strong brand identity to achieve a cohesive atmosphere throughout both the spatial and brand experience design Incorporating materials with varying textures was necessary to improve the spatial quality and offset a monotonous color scheme. As it travels up and down the boulevard, the antenna structure sways in the air. The radio station hosted workshops with various communities to create actionable narratives about future living in Milton Keynes. These stories were then broadcasted in a daily radio show. Artist Heejung Kim, Thomas Ballouhey, Koos Breen and might have different backgrounds, but we share an interest in form and texture. For this event only we collaborated to transform PIP into our own concrete playground for the opening exhibition of ‘PIP Lekker10 festival’. The use of sand as a medium has a transformative effect on the experience of viewing three individual artworks, each with its own unique texture and character. The artist investigated and discovered the hidden truths of colonial traces piece by piece while creating the film. The orientally inspired frame installations on the main window deliver the clear introduction to the Asian film festival. It invites people to the cultural experiences of Asia in the centre of Amsterdam. The oriental frames of the outside windows continue to the interior space. The windows inside were decorated with frames and stickers.
